HEATHLANDS COURSE

Inspired by Ireland’s Portmarnock Golf Club, the Heathlands course’s fescue-covered dunes, pot bunkers and severely-sloped greens pay homage to classic golf design with one of the truest tests in Ontario.

Opened in 1992, the Heathlands course harkens back to golf’s beginnings and the dune-swept hills of traditional Irish links. Once the carefully-guarded secret of local aficionados, the course has become a favourite of those seeking a traditional golf experience and a stirring challenge that pays homage to the simple-yet-brilliant creativity of classic golf design.

NEW BACK NINE ROUTING

With the opening of our new Heathlands Clubhouse, the back nine of the Heathlands course will follow an updated routing beginning May 15, 2025.

The new routing will begin on the 527-yard par-5 10th (previously no. 14) and conclude on the 443-yard par-4 18th (previously no. 13).n See full hole-by-hole flyovers of all 18 holes below:

“The Heathlands course was the first on the property and Doug Carrick’s initial try at a links-style layout. He pulled it off brilliantly, and the course continues to hold up as one of the strongest tests in Canada.”
