Caledon, Ont. – TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley announced on Monday the addition of Executive Chef Daniella Germond to its team of established industry professionals, along with an expanded full-time role for Tournament and Programming Director Brad Parkins.

The two join TPC Toronto in advance of an exciting new era for the Caledon, Ont. resort, adding to what is already one of Canada’s top golf destinations with construction on a new clubhouse, on-site accommodation and event space set to begin in 2021.

Germond will lead in the creation and development of new outstanding food and beverage services at TPC Toronto’s expanding facilities, while Parkins will assume an expanded role in golf programming and continue to serve as Tournament Director for the Osprey Valley Open presented by Votorantim Cimentos – CBM Aggregates, an official Mackenzie Tour – PGA TOUR Canada event.

“The future is bright for TPC Toronto as a premier resort destination and we’re incredibly proud of the team we have assembled to lead us into an exciting new era,” said TPC Toronto President Chris Humeniuk. “Daniella’s skills in the hospitality and culinary fields will help us continue to develop an outstanding food and beverage

business, while Brad’s expertise will be invaluable as we continue to expand events and programming at TPC Toronto in the coming years.”

Germond, a graduate of Niagara College’s Canadian Food and Wine Institute and a member of the Canadian Culinary Federation, comes to TPC Toronto from Lookout Point Golf Club, where she has overseen food and beverage operations since 2019. She previously worked at Islington Golf and Country Club and the Donalda Club.

"I am thrilled to be joining the team at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley and am very excited to share my passions for food and beverage,” said Germond. “I’m looking forward to this new chapter in my culinary journey.”

Parkins, who has collaborated with the TPC Toronto team on several events since 2018, has operated tournaments with the Mackenzie Tour and PGA TOUR Champions since 2013, while overseeing the Canadian Junior Golf Association as Chief Operations Officer since 2008.

“I am extremely excited to join the team at TPC Toronto on a full-time basis with a new expanded role,” said Parkins. “Having had the opportunity to work with the TPC Toronto team the past few years on various events, it is an exceptional team environment that is both collaborative and successful, and one I am excited to join. I look forward to continuing to lead the tournaments at TPC Toronto while expanding the footprint through new programming as the property begins its transformation. It is an exciting time at TPC Toronto and I am delighted to be joining the team.”
